fun facts about trey

  • Has gut-renovated each of the three houses he's lived in as an adult. He did all the plumbing in the first house by himself, including fluxing and soldering with a blowtorch.
  • Works as a part-time, unpaid assistant for his wife's interior design company. As a result, he's learned more about brushed nickel and unlacquered brass finishes than he ever could have imagined.
  • Studied 3 languages in high school, including Latin and ancient Greek.
  • Was historically an early adapter of technology—had a two-way pager, a Palm Treo, and the first iPhone on the day it was released. But he won't let his middle-school daughter own a phone yet.
  • Has the kind of children who shovel the driveway on a snow day...without being asked.
